Donna Marshall, a fourth-grade teacher at East Islip’s John F. Kennedy Elementary School, began a campaign this year with her class called Be Kind, and collected animal toys and supplies for a local animal shelter. “The kids were so excited to bring in their donations” said Marshall. “This will surely make a difference in the lives of these shelter pets.”
